Sheet Processing

CNC Turret Punching

A repeatable option for sheet-metal holes, slots, ventilation patterns, and selected formed features.

Overview

Choose punching when geometry and quantity fit

Turret punching can be effective for repeated holes, slots, arrays, and sheet profiles when suitable tooling and production conditions are available. It may also be combined with bending and hardware insertion.

The process is selected only after drawing review. Hueng Yu does not publish unverified machine ownership, bed size, material limits, or micron-level accuracy claims.

Applications

Typical punched features

Hole arrays

Repeated mounting, ventilation, or connector patterns.

Slots and cutouts

Standardized openings in panels and sheet components.

Sheet profiles

Part outlines that suit available tooling and production quantity.

Production parts

Repeat sheet-metal components followed by bending or finishing.

Project Review

Process selection points

Some profiles are better suited to laser cutting or another route.

  • Material, thickness, sheet size, grain, and surface protection
  • Feature size, spacing, edge distance, and required edge condition
  • Tooling availability, quantity, and acceptable witness marks
  • Bending, riveting, coating, and printing after punching
Quotation

Information to provide

  • A 2D or 3D drawing, dimensioned sketch, or representative sample
  • Material and current surface condition
  • Quantity, application, appearance side, and assembly requirements
  • Required delivery timing and any downstream process
