Electro-Coating for Metal Parts

A coordinated coating option for metal parts where coverage, appearance, and downstream assembly must be reviewed together.

Electro-coated metal component
Overview

Define the coating requirement before production

Electro-coating may be considered for selected metal parts that require a consistent coated surface. Material, pretreatment, part geometry, drainage, contact points, and later assembly all affect feasibility.

Hueng Yu can coordinate the process as part of a custom project. Performance values, coating thickness, color range, and line ownership are not claimed without a confirmed project specification.

Applications

Typical coating applications

Hardware components

Custom metal parts requiring an agreed coated finish.

Equipment parts

Brackets, covers, and internal or external components.

Formed sheet parts

Punched and bent parts finished before final assembly.

Batch projects

Repeat parts requiring controlled handling and packaging.

Project Review

Information needed for coating review

The coating specification should reflect how the part will be used and assembled.

  • Metal type, initial condition, and required pretreatment
  • Appearance, color, coverage, and acceptable reference
  • Threads, holes, electrical contacts, masking, and hanging points
  • Testing, packaging, and downstream assembly requirements
Quotation

Information to provide

  • A 2D or 3D drawing, dimensioned sketch, or representative sample
  • Material and current surface condition
  • Quantity, application, appearance side, and assembly requirements
  • Required delivery timing and any downstream process

Discuss your project

Send drawings, photos, material information, quantity, and application details for a practical feasibility review.
